Shri Nilakantha Panigrahi, the Director of Academics and Senior Principal at SAI International School, has been an integral part of the institution since 2009, exhibiting remarkable leadership as the Senior Vice Principal. With over 16 years of experience in educational administration and 25 years of teaching science, particularly physics, he brings a wealth of expertise to the role.

A recipient of the prestigious Global Teacher’s Accreditation Award by the British Council, Shri Panigrahi excels in resource management and staff development, ensuring an environment that enables both students and teachers to reach their full potential. He has a deep understanding of curriculum development, integrating ICT to design model lesson plans, and producing assignments that elevate the learning experience for senior secondary students.

Shri Panigrahi emphasizes holistic education, incorporating 21st-century skills such as creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving. He advocates for the integration of sports, music, and dance to foster a well-rounded development in children. His ability to mentor and guide students for competitive examinations is widely recognized.

A lifelong learner, he regularly attends seminars and workshops to enhance his leadership and educational strategies, including programs on strategic leadership and management from IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kolkata. Shri Panigrahi holds a Master’s in Science, a B.Ed. from Utkal University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Material Science from Utkal University.
